Instructions for assembling the Flat Pack Rack Series

The following are instructions for assembling the R8400 flat pack racks. This instruction guide demonstrates how simple, quick and efficient the assembly of our rack enclosures are.

This 19" rack range comes in sizes from 6U to 28U and is available with a selection of racking accessories.

1. Check your 19" rack system has all the required components:
  • 1 x RACK TOP
  • 1 x RACK BOTTOM
  • 2 x RACK WALLS
  • 1 x SCREW PACK

2. Attach the rack enclosure side wall to the bottom plate using the Alan Key, screws, nuts and washers.

You can identify the bottom plate by the pre drilled holes required for castors. Each rack side should have 4 screws attached to the bottom plate.

When complete repeat the process for the other rack side panel.

3. Attach the top of the rack unit to the 2 side walls.

Use the same method of attaching the top unit, as used for attaching the bottom to the side walls.

4. You now have a complete rack enclosure ready to use! (its that simple)

Tips & Hints:

Use a set of pliers to hold the nuts tight when you tighten the screws.
