The Shure PG56 Snare/Tom Microphone is a compact drum mic for close miking of snare drums, rack/floor toms, and percussion.It is tuned specifically for drum applications and has tailored frequency response which is smooth and extended.

The shure PG56 has a cardioid polar pattern which picks up the sound mostly from in front of the microphone making it less susceptible to feedback in high volume settings.The shure PG56 has a Dynamic cartridge which includes a neodymium magnet for high output level and can handle extreme volume levels without distortion.

As well as an internal shock mount for reduced handling noise, the Shure PG56 has a durable metal construction and a hardened steel mesh tapered grille which can withstand the rough treatment snare drums can encounter.Includes 15ft. (4.57m) cable, drum mount and storage bag.
